The sunny city of Irvine is lucky enough to have one of the most beautiful and abundant farmer's markets this local produce lover has ever seen. My blog is dedicated to celebrating the gorgeous fruits, veggies, breads, and other sundries sold there every Saturday. Each week, I'll feature a different vendor and his/her most delicious goods and tell you what they predict will shine at next week's market. Lastly, I will post recipes for dishes I've made with that week's loot. Enjoy!

do yu remember eating honeydew in Dunjong. it was like our American variety. The seeds were given to the Chinese by Henry Wallace, Secy of agriculture under roosevelt, I believe, and ran for president (as a socialist?) against Truman in '48This may not be completely accurate.
Everything sounds yummy. How come you never cooked for us?
Dad
I'm sorry, but I'm afraid he would just eat Donovan as a delicious cilantro-flavored appetizer to his
Kibbles-n-Bits.
